Explore Your Spiritual Strengths and Gifts
God has given each Christian vitally important gifts. The gift of faith in Jesus Christ, his work of redemption, and forgiveness of sin. Plus the gift of special abilities, which are to be used for the purpose of unifying the body of Christ and for the growth of God’s Kingdom.
Spiritual Gifts Assessment Tool
In partnership with our ELCA, we have a Spiritual Gifts Assessment tool available as a quick survey you can take to identify your spiritual gifts. Knowing your spiritual gifts will guide you to consider ways to engage in your congregation, explore new opportunities, and grow your gifts and talents. This tool can be done by individuals, as part of new member class, incorporate into bible study, confirmation, council retreats or even have the entire congregation complete as an engagement and faith leadership process.
Churches benefit by:
- Improving volunteerism by matching mission needs with member’s gifts.
- Enabling congregation leaders to effectively manage staff and leadership teams.
- Helping members celebrate and actualize their God given gifts
StrengthsFinders and Enneagram
Research finds people who know and use their strengths every day are more likely to experience positive emotions (happy, respected, energetic, well-rested) and less likely to experience negative ones (stress, worry, anger, sadness). Personal engagement drives spiritual commitment and leads to positive outcomes both inside and outside the church.
Through the important work of Gallup and Don Clifton, StrengthsFinders has become one of the most used personal assessments. StrengthsFinders has made a significant difference for: Pastors, Church leadership, Volunteer ministries, Congregational giving, Staff effectiveness, Membership retention, Team collaboration, and much more.
We are honored to have a trained coach in both StrengthsFinders and Enneagram. The Rev. Dr. Robert Driver-Bishop provides comprehensive spiritual direction & organizational guidance. He is dedicated to making a meaningful difference for each person and our faith communities. He regularly leads spiritual workshops for churches, staff retreats, synod events, & national leadership gatherings. His doctoral studies are in spiritual direction and he is an Accredited Executive Clifton Strength Finders coach certified by Gallup and has advanced coaching academic certification with Enneagram, Myers-Briggs, & DiSC.
