Creation Care Videos around the Earth Charter

We are pleased to be offering a special series of videos in collaboration with the Delaware-Maryland Synod (ELCA) and The Episcopal Diocese of Maryland on Connected in God’s Creation.  This video series comes out of the important work of the Earth Charter focused on four pillars of Community Care and Respect, Ecological Justice, Social & Racial Justice and Peace & Nonviolence.

These are an incredible tool for personal and group study as we launch Earth Day and work to care for God’s creation. Use them as an education series, in personal devotion, bible study, be creative! Each is less than 45 minutes with moments throughout to explore and consider how the concepts influence our faith and work as Disciples of Christ.

You can find each video below by accessing the orange link:

Pillar 1 – Community Respect and Care: A Story of Community Organizing by Pastor Gary Dittman from Amazing Grace

Pillar 2 – Ecological Justice: God Saw that It was Good-From Genesis to the Anthropocene by Deacon Laura Heller and Dr. Bernadette Roche
