2010 Compensation Guidelines
Delaware-Maryland Synod
Under the Mission Through Leadership team there will be a Mission Force for Financial Support. This Financial Support Mission Force will be involved in evaluating and adjusting synod salary guidelines in order to affirm and strengthen the mission of congregations and their staffs. Upon request, people from the Financial Support Mission Force will be available to meet with Mutual Ministry Committees and/or Congregation Councils as they develop compensation packages for rostered staff (pastors, associates in ministry, and diaconal ministers).
Congregations may also want to use the ELCA booklets, Mutual Ministry Committee, by the Rev. George E. Keck, and Compensation Planning, by Manfred Holck, Jr.
