Spirit Surge You know that feeling you get when you are entirely full of the Holy Spirit? When you realize something about yourself, your faith, your world? When a big piece falls into place? When you’re in the middle of a mission trip or a week at camp or a song and you’re just immersed in the presence and power of God… so that you are overwhelmed and just don’t know what to do? When you feel like you are in exactly the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, that God wants you to do? When you’re in the middle of doing something so difficult or scary or new or huge that you know it’s only possible because God is right there with you, by your side, making things happen?

Yeah. So do we. We’ll get together and share our stories. We’ll dive into worship and service and fun together and let God do something awesome and new among us. And we’ll dream and pray and listen together for where and how the Holy Spirit is calling us next.

The Details

The High School Leadership Event is for incoming ’12-’13 high school youth and current graduating seniors. The adult leadership is provided by the mentors of the Synod’s leadership development program (the LYO) and the staff of Mar-Lu-Ridge.

The event begins on Friday, June 22nd at 7:00pm and ends on Sunday, June 24th at 12:00pm. The event fee is $60/person and payment should be made out to “The Gathering Account.”
