Who should attend Opening Windows, Opening Doors?
This event is for current Congregation Council members, committee chairs, Women of the ELCA leadership, men's group leaders, and anyone interested in learning more about the vision for church leadership. By all means, invite prospective council members and other leaders to attend as a way to help them feel comfortable in saying "yes" when you ask for their help. To encourage participation by young adults, anyone ages 18-30 may attend for free! Just mark the registration form YA following the person's name.
Please note: The day has been designed for your council to attend as a group, so you're encouraged to bring as many members as possible.
What does each participant need to bring?
A bag or box lunch Morning and noon beverages and dessert will be provided. This helps us keep the requested donation at only $5. Do not plan to go out to buy lunch, as the day's schedule is packed and you won't have time.
